Unearthing Box
The unearthing box helps ‘unearth’ our positive qualities, understand ourselves and others better and work out positive solutions for life’s thorny problems. We have staff trained across school to use the Unearthing Box with children on a 1:1 or small group basis, with intended outcomes of:
- increased self esteem & empathy
- solve problems with positivity and compassion
- discover our wisdom and use it to progress
Children work through three sections of the Unearthing Box alongside an adult, sharing insights as they go. In this way they can learn from the adult's approach to life and the adult learn about theirs, which creates shared experiences, with natural and relaxed conversations.
The three sections are:
1. The Best of Us
2. Tell the World to Treat Me Well
3. Make Good things Happen
